The following is a step-by-step process that I have used and you can use it too, right now. It is written mostly in a process format for you uses, so feel free to print it out.
Limbic System Balance
The limbic system consists of specific areas of the brain that include the following: pineal, pituitary, hypothalamus, thalamus, hippocampus, and amygdala. The pineal deals with sympathetic and parasympathetic nervous systems as well as metabolism, circadian rhythms, and intuitive connection.
Reoccurring headaches at the back of the head are indicative of pineal gland possibly expanding. When doing remote work, you use your pineal to direct the healing energy out of the third eye to wherever it is going. The hypothalamus regulates the autonomic nervous system, like blood pressure, heart rate, hunger, sexual drive, sleep, blood glucose, fatigue, anger, temperature, and thyroid function. The thalamus, hippocampus, and the amygdala store memories and strong emotions that are highly motivating and the flight or fight response.
The hipppocampus is responsible for the largest brain waves or theta waves on a EEG. The amygdala is the area responsible for depression and bipolar disorder when it occurs. Neuroses are affected by the limbic system as well as some possible psychoses.
When should you think about doing a limbic system balance?
When you see clients with sleep disturbances, sudden loss or gain of intuition, PTSD, addictions, phobias, fears, weird edema, and rage, you should consider doing a limbic system balance. Psoriasis is possible sign of repressed rage, and the thalamus and amygdala need balancing.
The glands that we balance are in order of their position in your brain. If you place your finger on your third eye and go directly back about 2 inches you will be at the pituitary. Slightly up and from there, about 1 cm is the hypothalamus . Then, up and back another cm is the pineal gland. All of these glands are about the size of the tip of my pinkie finger.
To balance the limbic system, you will place your fingers on the respective areas above the ear, starting with the pituitary gland, which is at the point where the ear meets the head at the top of the ear. Ever so slightly back is the position for the hypothalamus. And, then, ever so slightly from there is the pineal gland, which is at the top of the ear curve, in the center of the head.
Now, you will have three fingers on each side of the head that are above the ears to balance the limbic system. Imagine a figure 8 sideways moving with the hypothalamus at the cross of the figure 8 and the pituitary and the pineal in the circles.
See this figure 8 in the center of your head about 2 inches behind your third eye.
Imagine the figure 8 just above their ear and in the center of the head, as if you are looking at it from the side of someones face. The size of the figure 8 is about 1 inch in length and 0.5 inches height.
You will want to have your clients getting started by imaging gold white light flowing about in this figure 8 motion. Let it take its own speed and form.
Focus your attention on yours, allowing the gold and white light to flow in this figure 8 motion. Let it go at its own rate, don’t try to control it. It may go fast or slow. As you get yours moving and balanced, your clients will match yours.
Once this is happeing, you can begin to imagine another figure 8 flowing on the front of your eyes…with the bridge of the nose being the cross point. This balances the glands that have two sides to them. If you will, from here imagine this figure 8 flowing with gold light 2 inches into the head from the third eye (as if looking straight at someones face directly).
Remember, get your clients started, then focus on yours by using the gold light. The clients will match yours. Use your intuition to know when the balancing is complete.
At this point you will imagine a figure 8 moving over the body with the cross point being the throat chakra.
The pituitary and the heart chakra are in the circles of the figure 8. Get your clients started, then focus on yours by using the gold light. The clients will match yours. Use your intuition to know when the balancing is complete.
Lastly, imagine a figure 8 moving over the entire body with the cross point being the second chakra for females and the first chakra for males. This figure eight will encompass the entire body. Get the clients started, then focus on yours by using the gold light. The client will match yours. Let it flow and take it own speed and shape. Use your intuition to know when the balancing is complete.
My hopes are that you will find this process useful and helpful. I’d like to hear your results.
